SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it's alarmed regarding the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The here company level made for intervention ordeals a higher influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all prospects and increase entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
